Designed for intrepid expedition travelers, this journey dives deep into southeastern Senegal’s Kédougou region, offering rare encounters with minority ethnic communities and their living traditions. The adventure continues through the wild landscapes of Casamance and into the cultural heart of western Gambia. The Kedougou festival celebrates the rich cultural heritage, traditions and artistic expressions of several minority ethnic groups of the region — including the Bassari, Bedik, Coniagui and Djallonké peoples — as well as neighboring communities like the Peulh and Malinké.
