Day 1. Transfer from Rosso border - Saint Louis - Guet Ndar Island

Once in Saint-Louis, you'll explore the ancestral island of Guet Ndar in a charming horse-drawn carriage. A local guide will share the fascinating history and culture of this unique island. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at the Flamingo Restaurant, located on the iconic Faidherbe Bridge, where you can savor traditional flavors and admire the views of the river. Day 2. Port Louis - Djoudje Birds sanctuary - nature’s Wonders and Lompoul Desert Adventure
After a hearty breakfast, we’ll set off to the Djoudje Bird Sanctuary, a UNESCO-listed site that is home to a wide variety of bird species. This is the perfect place to connect with nature and marvel at the diverse wildlife. Enjoy lunch in Saint-Louis, then take a scenic detour to Océan et Savane. Relax here with a break by the Langue de Barbarie, where the ocean meets the river in a peaceful setting. Next, we head to the mesmerizing Lompoul Desert, where you’ll experience the vastness and beauty of the dunes. As the sun sets, we’ll gather around a fire for a special show under the stars. Spend the night in a Mauritian tent (Khayma) in the middle of the desert, embracing the adventure and serenity of the dunes. B/L/D

Day 3. Lompoul desert - Pink Lake - Kayar Fishing port - Turtles village
Start your day with an optional camel ride at sunrise, a truly unique way to experience the desert. Afterward, we head towards Lake Retba, also known as the Pink Lake, where you’ll witness the vibrant, surreal colors of the water. On the way to the lake, we’ll visit the Kayar Fishing Wharf, Senegal’s second-largest fishing port. A local guide will share stories about the daily life of the fishermen and the significance of this bustling hub. Depending on the weather, we’ll visit the Noflay Turtle Village, where efforts are underway to protect these remarkable creatures. For lunch, enjoy a meal at a stunning restaurant overlooking the lake, offering fresh, local cuisine with spectacular views. If you're feeling adventurous, you can opt for a horseback ride or a quad bike excursion to further explore the area (optional). Afterward, enjoy a peaceful dinner and overnight stay by the lake, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the landscape. B/-/-

Day 4. Goree Island- Dakar city tour
After an early breakfast, we’ll journey to the vibrant capital city of Dakar. Once in Dakar, we’ll board a boat for a 20-minute crossing to Gorée Island, where you’ll visit the Slave House, a powerful monument that recalls the tragic history of the slave trade. Enjoy lunch on Gorée Island, soaking in the atmosphere of this historic site before returning to Dakar. The afternoon will be spent exploring the highlights of Dakar, including the Kermel Market, Independence Square, Soumbedioune Fishing Village, and the iconic Renaissance Monument. Day 5. Departure
