Witness one of the greatest natural spectacles in the world - the Great Wildebeest Migration!
Every year upon the arrival of the dry season in Serengeti (Tanzania), hundreds of thousands wildebeest, zebras, gazelles and other wild animals are heading north in search of water and fresh grazing grounds. They travel over 1000km. through vast plains and rivers, overcoming various obstacles and risking falling pray to predators, before arriving at the Masai Mara in Kenya. The view of the enormous herds of wild animals moving as one single unit oozing with power and determination is unparalleled and makes for an authentic safari experience. We will be travelling to Kenya in August - this is usually the period when the herds are reaching the Masai Mara Reserve and when observers have the highest chances of seeing the spectacular crossing of the Mara River - the pinnacle of the migration.
Our journey through Kenya continues with a visit to Lake Nakuru National Park - a great location for spotting wildlife before finishing with a few days relaxation at one of Africa's leading beach locations - Diani Beach.
