Get ready to embark on the ultimate powder adventure in Gulmarg with us! Our guided tours are designed for all skiers who want to experience the best of the majestic Himalayas. With a mix of local ski guides and your awesome hosts, you'll have the chance to ski alongside some of the most experienced powder enthusiasts in the area.

Gulmarg has one of the highest ski lifts in the world, topping out at 3979 m, at the foot of Mt Apharwat (4215 m). The resort’s amazing endless terrain covered with dry curry powder provides access to vast backcountry terrain - long runs with vertical drop of 1000+ meters, big open bowls as well as tree runs in Kashmir’s pristine pine forests. The huge area guarantees snow remains good days after the last snowfall.

Skiing in Gulmarg is suitable for intermediate and advanced riders that are confident skiing or snowboarding in off piste terrain. Gulmarg resort is the only real resort in the Indian Himalayas situated in the Pir Panjal range, part of the western Himalaya. It is located 50 km west of Srinagar, nestled at 2700 m of altitude, accessible by road.

It offers several lifts:
♦ Gondola phase 1: 2700 m to 3100 m
♦ Gondola phase 2: 3100 m to 3979 m
♦ Оne 4 seater chairlift from 3100 m to 3600 m

Mountain touring is possible around Gulmarg and from top of phase 2 to the summit of Mt Apharwat at 4215 m.


Itinerary:

16FEB: Delhi - Srinagar - Gulmarg
Arrive Delhi on the early TK flight from Istanbul.  After passport control we board the flight to Srinagar at. 10.30.  Arrive Srinagar at 11.55 where our guide will meet you.  Drive to Gulmarg, 3 hours. Check in at our hotel. Welcome drink and a short briefing, ski and safety gear check.

17-24FEB. Skiing days in Gulmarg area
Breakfast around 7.45 am, leave the hotel at 9 am. Our daily activities will be some of the following:
• Accessible Freeride terrain from the resort lifts
• Mountain Touring from top of phase 2 Gondola
• Runs to the bottom of the valley from top of phase 2 /-2500m vertical, return to Gulmarg by jeep
• Runs through forest down from Gulmarg -600m back up by jeep ( when lifts closed usually when it’s snowing or that it is too windy at the top )
• Mountain touring from Gulmarg for forest runs
• Tuition on the use of your safety gear, on avalanche safety and mountain awareness.
We finish skiing around 3-4 pm

25FEB: Srinagar - Delhi
Check out affer breakfast and transfer back to Srinagar to caych the flight toDelhi at 13.45. Hotel in Delhi c;ose to the airport. 

26FEB: Departure
Transfer to the airport for departure
