During your hiking week along the ancient Roman road Via Claudia Augusta,you'll explore one of South Tyrol’s most beautiful regions,located between the Val Venosta Valley and the Southern Wine Route — a journey that will make every hiker’s heart skip a beat.The tour begins at the famous Lake Resia, surrounded by a stunning mountain panorama and offering breathtaking views of the snow-covered Ortler Massif. The route takes you along spectacular high-altitude trails, high above the fertile Val Venosta Valley,and leads you toward Merano.Along the way, enjoy magnificent views of lush vineyards and orchards, and discover numerous castles and palaces, including Reinhold Messner’s Mountain Museum.The Mediterranean-style spa town of Merano, known for its thermal springs, provides the perfect opportunity for relaxation at the end of your hike.

You will spend the night in selected accommodations and discover South Tyrol day by day - for instance blossoming fruit trees, the hike along the Rablander Waalweg and the Churburg near Sluderno. In the thermal spa Merano, you can recover from the hikes.
