The thundering waters of Iguazu falls will leave you speechless in front of the wonders of nature. Admire views of the awe-inspiring Perito Moreno Glacier and enjoy walks through the spectacular scenery of “Los Glaciares” National Park.

Itinerary:

Day 1. Arrival in Buenos Aires
Arrival at the airport and transfer to “Rochester Concept Hotel” or similar. You will be accompanied by our local representative who will assist you with check-in procedures and provide you with the info-package about the tour.
Overnight in Buenos Aires.

Day 2. Buenos Aires - City tour
City tour including 9 de Julio Avenue, the Obelisk and Corrientes Street. We’ll stop at Plaza de Mayo to visit the Cathedral and the Cabildo (Old City Hall). After that the trip will continue towards San Telmo characterized by its colonial houses and cobblestoned streets.
Later on we will drive to the southern neighborhood of La Boca which colorful zinc houses sheltered the first immigrants and will continue to Puerto Madero (popular gastronomic and residential area). We shall visit the area of Palermo, covered with gardens and ponds and surrounded by elegant buildings. Our last stop will be in Recoleta, where we can visit the famous cemetery and many cafes and famous restaurants.

Day 3. Buenos Aires

Day 4. Buenos Aires - Puerto Iguazu
Transfer to Buenos Aires airport. Flight to Puerto Iguazu and transfer to “Jardin del Iguazu” hotel, escorted by our local representative.

Day 5. Iguazu Falls Excursions
The Iguazu National Park was created in 1934 and in 1984 UNESCO declared it part of the Natural World Heritage. The visit to the park can be done via 3 circuits. The Lower path (1,200-meter-walk) reveals great views of the majority of the rapids and falls from a front and lower point of view. Its duration is 2 hours and is considered difficult due to the number of steps along the way. The Higher path (1,300-meter-walk) takes 1 hour and is less effort demanding but offers breathtaking sceneries from a cliff-point outlook. The Devil’s throat has to be accessed via the Ecological Jungle Train. From its stop there is a winding path that goes around the island for 1,100 meters and ends at the edge of the falls. Approximate duration: 2 hours.

Day 7. Puerto Iguazu - El Calafate
Transfer to Puerto Iguazu airport. Flight to El Calafate, meeting with our representative and transfer to “Rochester El Calafate” hotel.

Day 8. El Calafate. Perito Moreno Glacier
Today we are going to drive 85 km to the Perito Moreno glacier renowned for its constant forward movement. On the way to the National park “Los Glaciares” we shall enjoy the Andean pre-cordillera scenery. The access to the park is at the Argentino Lake. Along Brazo Rico river we will start to spot the floating icebergs until we will finally be able to see this natural wonder, included by UNESCO in the list of the Natural World Heritage. Walking along the path we are going to admire its stunning beauty. In the afternoon we will go back to the hotel.

Day 9. El Calafate
Day at leisure. Overnight in El Calafate.

Day 10. Departure from El Calafate
Last day of our tour. Transfer to El Calafate airport. End of our services.
