En route you will also have the opportunity to delve deep into the local culture of the country visiting its famous camel market and historical sites. Day1: Arrival – Asmara
Arriving to Asmara Airport early in the morning, where you will be met by our staff at the airport and transferred to your Hotel. After some rest - extensive city tour in Asmara with our tour guide.

The capital of Eritrea, Asmara is the largest City perched at an altitude of 2400 meters above sea level, assuring the city a year round pleasant climate. Literally created by the Italians between the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century, Asmara now accommodates more than 400 art Deco buildings officially recognized by UNESCO. The pleasant climate, cleanness and cultural diversity of the city make it a wonderful place to explore. Overnight in Asmara.

Day 2: Asmara – Massawa
Travel to Massawa through Ghinda-Gahtelay, visiting the Rashaida village and continuing to the port City of Massawa. Spending the rest of the day enjoying the combination of Turkish and Italian Architecture and the beauty of the Gurgusum beach. Overnight in Massawa.

Day 3: Massawa – Dissei Island
Sea excursion to Dissei Island for diving and snorkeling. Overnight on the island.

Day 4: Dissei Island – Massawa
Visit to the fisher man village and after few hours swimming in Madot return to Massawa. Visit the town and overnight.

Day 5: Massawa – Asmara
Return to Asmara and Via Ghinda. Overnight in Asmara.

Day 6: Asmara
Travel to Kohaito archaeological site and return to Asmara. Overnight in Asmara.

Day 7: Asmara
Travel to Keren. Visit the Monday Camel Market, Italian and Commonwealth War Cemeteries, the ex Railway terminal and the church of the Madona in the Baobab tree. Return to Asmara for overnight.

Day 8: Asmara – Depart
Free time in Asmara. Transfer to the Airport for Departure.
