Triglav - "the three-headed mountain" is the highest mountain in Slovenia (2864 m), the country's national symbol in the Julian Alps north of the capital Ljubljana and rightly the country's pride. From the top there is a magnificent view into Austria and in clear weather all the way to the Adriatic. Tradition says that every true Slovenian must climb it at least once in his life. Be one of our proud guests and we will grant you this honarary title!

Tour highlights:
♦ Triglav National Park - alpine mountain peaks, glacial landscapes and picturesque mountain huts
♦ Mt.Triglav - the highest mountain in Slovenia
♦ Lake Bohinj - crystal clear mountain lake and the Mostnica river gorge with refreshing mountain water

This is neither a walk nor a hike. It is a climb. There are via ferrata sections on day 3, you will need to use hands too. Not suitable for anyone with a vertigo problem, nor for children under 16 years. In line with our "Safety First Policy" we only offer it in guided form.

Fantastic trip with Penguin Travel! Loved all the sights we got to see in Saudi Arabia. Abdulaziz and Lyuben were very helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend for solo and group travelers, especially those wanting an "off the beaten path" experience. Can't wait to travel with Penguin again!
