Day 1. Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)
Your African safari holiday begins in the vibrant town of Victoria Falls, home to the spectacular Victoria Falls. This bustling adventure town offers a range of optional activities for those seeking a thrill. If you wish to participate in the various activities available, please visit the offices of Shearwater, our preferred supplier to book your activities.

For a more relaxed experience, explore the craft markets or enjoy a delicious high tea at the Victoria Falls Hotel. You will meet your crew at Shearwater’s reception area at 17:00. -/-/D
Day 2. Victoria Falls - Kasane (Botswana) - Chobe National Park
This morning you will have the opportunity to participate in the many optional activities that are offered in the town of Victoria Falls. After lunch, we will travel the short distance to the Botswana border, crossing into Botswana and we will arrive at our accommodation in the late afternoon, to set up camp on the banks of the Chobe River. Day 3. Kasane - Nata
We will leave the banks of the Chobe River, and head south into the Kalahari Desert. You’ll notice the ‘bushveld’ change as you get closer to our overnight accommodation. B/L/D
Day 4. Khwai Conservation Area
Prepare to leave your Nomad truck for the next two nights of our African adventure safari in the Okavango. Please pack lightly and only take what you need for the following two nights. Today we make our way towards the Okavango Delta, stopping at the viewing point of the Salt Pans en-route. Upon arrival in Maun, you will have the opportunity to go on an optional scenic flight over the Delta (time and weather permitting). After your optional flight, you will be picked up in Maun in open 4x4 safari vehicles and will be transferred to the Khwai Conservation area. Your guide will prepare you on what to expect for the afternoon mokoro (a typical local canoe) excursion into the Okavango Delta. (Please note: It is possible that the mokoro activity could take place the following morning, depending on the season). B/L/D
Day 5. Greater Moremi Game Reserve Area
Today, we embark on a full-day game drive, spending most of our day on safari in the Moremi Game Reserve, searching for the diverse species that roam the plains. Expect bumpy roads as we traverse this wilderness area in our 4x4 vehicles. The habitats range from wetlands and open water to grasslands and savannah woodlands, offering a chance to see a variety of fauna and flora. In the evening, we return to Khwai to share our safari experiences. B/L/D
Day 6. Khwai - Maun
We will depart early this morning in our 4×4 vehicles and make our way to Maun, where we will overnight. B/L/D
Day 7. Maun - Palapye
Today, we will head south through the stark yet striking landscapes of the Central Kalahari Desert. Our journey skirts the southern end of the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, where we might spot wildlife moving between watering holes. We pass the Orapa Diamond Mine, a significant contributor to Botswana’s economy. Along the way, we will have a glimpse of the everyday life in several smaller towns and villages before arriving in Palapye. B/L/D
Day 8. Palapye - Johannesburg
Leaving Palapye, we will travel through the Kalahari Desert to the South African border. After completing border formalities, we continue through the North-West Province, concluding our tour in Johannesburg. B/L/-
