Cameroon

Cameroon, usually referred to as "Mini Africa", is not a place for the inexperienced traveler or for those who are not ready to leave their western prejudice packed aside. But on the other hand, if you are doing OK with bumpy rides on red, dirty and extremely dusty roads, if daily warm shower is not a must for you and if you are open to communicate mainly with locals and mainly in french, then Cameroon will reward you. Within its borders you'll have the unique chance to visit a desert, to climb a mountain higher then 4000 m which is siting right on the sea coast, to go for a jungle trek or for wild life watching in the savanna or spotting gorillas in Lobeke National Park. Such a variety of ecosystems, found within a country with the size of California.

This network of routes, which stretched about 11 000 km (7 000 miles) and connected the East and the West, is a milestone in the development of the modern world and the...

Can you name the country with the most pyramids in the world? Nope, it’s not Egypt. The country which holds this record with more than 200 pyramids is actually Egypt’s southern neighbor – Sudan.
