Horse Riding in Rila Mountains, 4 days
Rila is among the highest mountain range of Bulgaria and on the Balkans, with its highest peak Musala (2,925 m). The name Rila is allegedly of Thracian origin and should mean "well-watered mountain", owing to Rila's abundance of glacial lakes (about 200) and hot springs in the faulty areas. Here you will find the charming mountain resort Borovets, situated at 1350 m a.s.l and at the foot of Musala peak among age-old pine woods. The resort is easily accessible by road, at a distance of 73 km from Sofia. In the summer Borovets attracts trekkers, hikers and horseriders. With us you have the unique possibility of an equestrian holiday in the beautiful nature of the Rila Mountains.
