Kremikovtsi Monastery and Lokorsko Singletracks - 1 day MTB
A pleasent mountain bike trip in the lands of Balkan mountains north of Sofia. Vist the picturesque Kremikovtsi monastery. Enjoy an easy uphill biking to the remote hunters hut Strelets, bike on the main ridge road and go downhill on wild singletracks in forests and rocky section to Lokorsko village.
Trip plan:
Transfer to Kremikovtsi monastery (20 min.). Visit of the old monastery church. We get on the bikes on a nice dirt road and start climbing gradually to the remote Strelets hut. We continue on the nice meadows on the mountain ridge and go downhill on wild singletracks in forests and rocky section to Lokorsko village. Free time for a drink in the village.
